Dating On A Budget

Are you single, trying to live on a budget, and dating? This combination may sound like it cannot coexist, but dating on a budget can be done.

In fact, budgeting can be the catalyst that brings out your creativity and makes you a better date than you could have imagined.

Being a budget-minded date can work in your favor. You may be the date that everyone falls in love with. Cheap dates take imagination, pizzazz,--and a little bit of guts. You can do it. Think about the following ideas:

Take a bus.

Call your date and tell him or her to get their lightweight back pack ready. Pack it up with finger foods, drinks, and a wrap if the weather should turn chilly. Meet each other at the bus station and see how far you can go on ten bucks. Take a camera for shots of the people, scenery, bus stops, and each other. Ride and chat about the bus rides of the past.

Do some kid stuff.

Make a list of the kinds of things you loved to do as a child. Plan a date around some of them. Be daring. Was it fishing, baseball games, making paper boats to float in the fountain, finger painting, carousel riding, or eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches in the park and swinging? Kid stuff is good stuff.

Visit the critters.

There are lots of animals at the SPCA that need petting and can bring a smile to your face. How long has it been since you have been to the petting zoo? Visit a farm or go to a rodeo. If you have not had enough of the animals at the end of the day, rent an animal movie, followed by talking about your favorite animals when you were a child.

All of the above will bring conversation and sharing to a new level with your date. These dates should raise your attraction persona. And if nothing else--if they don't turn out the way you had expected, at least you will be the date to be remembered.
